The Mill in Kamen'-na-Obi |
In the beginning of the 20th century many tanneries, candle-works, mills and other plants were built.
By the first years of the 20th century there were six fur-works and tanneries, two soap-works, five brick-works, two saw-mills and about forty shoe workshops. All the erections influenced the architectural view of the town. Different factories and warehouses for ready-made production were built on the bank of the Ob river. The first electric station in the style of neoclassicism was built there. |
